Team DeCarTrans supplied Team Bonk Motorsport with the innovative and renewable fuel \u201ceFuel Racing 98\u201d at this year’s 24-hour race at the N\u00fcrburgring. The team, which competed with a BMW M4 GT4 in the class for vehicles with alternative fuels, achieved second place in the AT3 class. The race was stopped after seven hours due to poor visibility, but the BMW showed impressive performance and reliability.<\/p>\n
The partnership with FEV, Bertrandt and other renowned companies enabled intensive test bench research and successful tests that confirmed the competitiveness of the \u201ceFuel Racing 98\u201d. The fuel, which is produced from biogenic or regenerative sources, performed excellently in the race and helped to reduce CO\u2082 emissions.
